Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Currently, more than 747,000 Americans are living with a blood cancer and every ten minutes a life is claimed by blood cancer. Leukemia is one of the leading causes of death among children ages 1-15. The survival rate in 1960 was only 4%. Today the survival rate is 80% in part due to the money the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has raised to help researchers search for cures for these diseases.
